Sept. 12th Kick-off!

Sept. 12th is an exciting day for Concord United Methodist Church. Both and the children's and youth ministry are going to begin to offer Sunday Morning Worship Arts classes for children and youth. If you're into music/dance/drama/video production/creative arts...then join us Sunday morning for rehearsal. We will then be periodically scheduled to present/participate in worship. Youth rehearsal is for grades 6-12.

Sep. 12th also marks the kick-off for Sunday evening Youth Fellowship. Youth in grades 6-12 are invited over to the Mallory residence from 5:30-7:30 for games, snacks, prizes, learning, fellowship, and FUN! Be There!

We are very excited about all of this! See you Sunday, Sept. 12th!

Fair Trade!

Hello everyone! I'm excited to let everyone know that the youth Sunday School class has a very important assignment. We are in charge of finding a brand of fair trade coffee to serve on Sunday mornings. Concord has a long standing commitment to purchasing fair trade coffee and we are going to continue that tradition. The company that Concord has been purchasing from in the past has discontinued their brand of decaf coffee, so now we're on the hunt for more! Purchasing fair trade brands is very important and healthy for all persons involved in the transaction. If you don't know about or understand the fair trade process please watch the video below for more information!

If you have any fair trade companies that you buy from, please let me know by commenting below or e-mailing me at tesia@englewoodconcord.com!
